Reliable Foreign Body Detection and Visual Food Inspection
Food has to be flawless because it irritates the consumer if a piece of confectionery is wrongly positioned or the pizza topping has slipped. You can prevent this with our X-ray scanners and our visual product inspection.
The display shows the X-ray image in real time. In addition to foreign body detection, your goods will be checked for completeness, actual contents and correct shape and arrangement. If a pack or package does not meet the requirements, the error is logged and the related product ejected from the product flow. Our X-ray-portfolio has a modular structure which enables us to cover all your requirements in full.
The vision control system checks the correct positioning of labels and the readability of all information printed on the packaging using high-resolution cameras and highly sensitive image processing software. This determines whether the date of manufacture and best-before date are recorded on the packaging error-free. Other application areas, such as cover film verification or sealing edge check are also covered.
Contamination due to glass, stone, ceramic or metal particles is detected using X-ray technology and the food, whether packaged or unpackaged, is safely ejected from your production line. This technology reliably prevents expensive recalls of contaminated products.

Dynamic Checkweighing for Highest Expectations
If a product is faulty, they eject it from the product flow and send information to the filling machine or upstream systems to regulate product metering. It is possible to achieve throughputs of up to 650 weighing operations per minute with constant precision and even higher throughput rates with multiple lane operation. If you are unable to install the scales in areas that are vibration-free, your checkweigher’s weigh cell can also be equipped with Active Vibration Compensation (AVC). This ensures you receive reliable measured data even under difficult conditions without compromising on precision and speed.
Our patented conveyor belt systems ensure quiet running on all devices and fast, reliable transport of your goods. If necessary, additional top-bottom conveyors, measuring worm conveyors or lateral side grip conveyors can be used, for instance to transport folding boxes or to separate bottles.
The individually tailored software solution ComScale4 networks the checkweighers and other inspection systems such as metal detectors and X-ray scanners.
